Bear Claw® BP-JIB Series

The Mobile Lifting Jib - Portable Jib Trolley is ideal for a wide variety of industrial heavy-lifting applications. It features outriggers for increased stability and a swivel crane for side loading. These portable models also have a double-acting manual hydraulic hand pump and adjustable swing outriggers with leveling jacks to stabilize the unit from side to front. This series is available with or without counterbalancing ballast. This product has phenolic casters that measure 8" x 2".

Product Details

Projection: Mobile Lifting Jib has two outrigger 40" legs that pivot for overall stability. Floor locks are on the end of each of the two outriggers. The main body frame includes four 8" phenolic casters.
Size: This unit measures 34" wide x 84" long x 63" high. Arm lengths are 48" beyond frame and 40" beyond the outriggers.
Color: Models are painted Beacon blue.
Weight: The BP-JIB-2 Mobile Lifting Jib model weighs 850 lbs. The BP-JIB-4 model weighs 1,050 lbs. Optional ballasts are 1,850 lbs. or 3,650 lbs.
Operation: Units rotate 360 degrees. The crane hoist should not be moved while loaded.
Capacity: The BP-JIB-2 model features a 2,000-lb. capacity. The BP-JIB-4 model has a 4,000-lb. capacity.
Standard: To keep the shipping cost at a minimum the unit is supplied without the optional counter balancing ballast. It’s the customer’s responsibility to provide ballast weight to the crane to meet capacity requirements at job site.
Options: Ballast options are weight filled at the factory as the counterbalance to meet capacity requirements.
Surcharge: Due to supply chain disruption, inflation or material shortages - tariffs or surcharges may apply to current published pricing. Some longer lead times may be incurred. Freight charges will be added to published pricing.
Note: If customer decides to provide the Ballast weigh and not purchase the Ballast option, then it needs to be adequate weight to meet crane lifting capacity.
