• Construction: Verify installation if the unit is a new or replacement application.
• Size: Both the Post Office Edge of Dock Leveler hook lift or bar lift units are available with a 66" or a 72" wide deck.
• Operating Range: Features 5" above and 5" below the loading dock as operating range.
• Installation: Edge of dock levelers must be securely anchored to a structural support such as an embedded channel, steel angle, or approach plate to properly absorb lateral forces during operation. Confirm your specific dock configuration so Beacon can recommend and quote the correct anchoring solution for safe, industry standard installation. Also confirm if your application is new, replacement or rehab construction.
• Color: Finish - Enamel base gray paint.
• Operation: Units are available with a push over bar lift operation featuring an integrated extension spring lift-assist mechanism for smooth, easy operation and reduced lifting effort.
• Capacity: The bar lift operated Post Office Edge of Dock Leveler units are available in a 20,000-lb capacity.
• Standard: The Post Office Edge of Dock Leveler is installed by others.
• Note: There is no pit work required. Manual Edge of Dock units simply weld to the building 8" embedded channel or to the optional formed angle and approach plate.
