A: The units are engineered as an efficient method to bridge the gap between the dock and trailer.
Q: How do edge of dock levelers operate?
A: The Mechanical Edge of Dock is designed with an extension spring and only requires approximately 28 to 34 lbs. of push pull force to operate. The Hydraulic Edge of Dock is controlled by wall mounted push button control. Powered by 115 Vac, 1 Ph., 60 Hz motor, pump, reservoir combination as standard. Other electrical options are available.
Q: What are industry standard capacities?
A: Capacities are available as 20,000, 25,000, 30,000 or 35,000 lbs. static.

Q: What are the different deck widths?
A: Available deck widths are 66", 72", 78” or 84".

Q: What bumpers are supplied with EOD?
A: All unites are supplied with 4” rubber bumpers mounted on 11” steel bump blocks providing an overall bumper projection of 15” from dock wall to bumper face.
Q: What is the span of an EOD?
A: All models have a span of 27-3/4".

Q: How do you select an edge of dock leveler?
A: Three different types are available. The selection includes contractor grade, standard and heavy duty edge of dock levelers.
