The Bear Claw^® Vertical Plate Clamp with Chain is designed to securely grip plate material for lifting in the vertical position. The lifting eye on this unit includes a chain to expand its uses. This series meets ASME B30.20 standards.

Product Details

Construction: This unit is constructed of heavy-duty steel.
Size: Models have throat depths of either 1.25" or 3" and bail openings of 2.25", 3", 3.75", or 5.25".
Color: The Vertical Plate Clamp with Chain is powder-coated Beacon blue.
Weight: Models come in various weights ranging from 9 to 35 lbs.
Operation: Units are not designed to lift less that 20% of rated capacity. Only lift one plate at a time. Plate should be clean and free of oil.
Capacity: This Vertical Plate Clamp with Chain series accommodates working load limits of 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, or 6,600 lbs. Units have maximum plate thicknesses of .6", .8", 1", or 1.1875". Units are designed to lift a minimum of 200, 400, 800, or 1,320 lbs.
