BEACON RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Continuous Development of New Technology
Throughout its history, Beacon has dedicated its efforts at providing exactly what each of its customers need for every application. This effort has often included the specialized and custom design of projects ranging in many different industries.
Beacon continues its research and development efforts and has recently expanded its research to now include technology critical to identifying, locating, and examining a host of shipped and inventoried items for asset tracking in real time visibility. For example, Beacon recognizes the great benefits that are available through the use of Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) and Global Position Satellite (GPS) data. As a result, Beacon is now introducing inventory management systems, shipping control systems, and site protection control systems that include various applications of RFID and GPS data. These new systems have resulted in a variety of Beacon designs that permit an ability to track ISO containers, manage products and other types of inventoried objects, as well as to protect storage cites from the theft of valuable items.
Beacon's dedication to new areas of technology and its continuous engagement in the research and development of new products and integration design, those efforts have often resulted in the development of the cutting edge technology. In fact, Beacon's research efforts have resulted in the grant of a number of United States patents covering a wide range of new products and applications. The BEACON PATENTS table below is one indication of Beacon's long term success at generating new technology and innovations for research and development.
