Beacon Model: Beacon BAWR series aluminum ramp.
Description: Beacon aluminum ramp enables delivery personnel, shippers and receivers to load and unload trucks when loading docks are unavailable. Aluminum ramp and loading ramps feature a 1-1/2" high safety curb on each side. These aluminum ramp models are equipped with steel safety chains with steel grab hooks that can be attached to each side of the ramp for securing the ramp to the truck safely.
Construction: The aluminum ramp models are lightweight, constructed of strong aluminum alloy with non-skid tread surface.
Size: Height ranges are from 6" to 21" up to 6" to 64".
Capacities: Capacities with 4-wheel carts range from 1,000 to 2,800 lbs. Capacities with 2-wheel carts range from 1,000 to 2,000 lbs.
Overall Width: Unit widths are 28" with 26" usable or 38" with 36" usable.
Overall Length: Lengths available on aluminum walk ramps range from 6' to 16'.
Standard: Aluminum walk ramp substructure includes ribs for strength and grooved deck for positive all-weather traction. Walk ramp type A includes an overlap lip. Walk ramp type B includes steel grab hooks.
Options: Available options on the aluminum walk ramps are adjustable height wheels and ramp carts.
Weight: Net weight of the walk ramp varies, depending upon size, between 76 and 227 lbs.
