Beacon Model: Beacon BPM5, BPM6 and BPM4 series full featured hand pallet trucks.
Description: Beacon full featured hand pallet trucks include two articulating steering wheels and two front load rollers. Full featured hand pallet trucks include nose wheels that are located on the front edge of each fork to assist in clean pallet entrance and exit. These hand pallet trucks allow for efficient movement of pallets without the use of a fork truck. Requiring only 75 lbs. of pulling force when fully loaded, this pallet truck increases ergonomics and effectiveness in the workplace. The spring-loaded handle automatically returns to its vertical position when not in use.
Capacity: The hand pallet trucks feature capacities of 4,000 to 6,000 lbs.
Construction: The hand pallet trucks feature triple-formed steel forks that provide the double the strength of standard forks. The hand pallet trucks feature a chrome-plated hydraulic pump piston for added longevity of the seal.
Service Range: The hand pallet trucks have a service range from 2-7/8" to 7-3/4".
Overall Fork Length: The hand pallet trucks are available with fork lengths of 36", 48", 72" or 96".
Overall Fork Width: The hand pallet trucks feature fork widths of 20" or 27".
Size: Each fork is 6-3/4" wide.
Operation: The full-featured hand pallet trucks are efficiently operated by one person.
Standard: The units are furnished with internally mounted, heavy-duty, adjustable steel push rods standard. Bearing dust covers increase the life of the steering wheels.
Color: The unit's steel forks have a powder-coated red finish.
Note: The units are shipped in a crate without the handle attached.
Weight: The models weigh from 225 to 441 lbs.
Options: For PM5-2748 only: The unit may be factory installed with a depressing hand brake for slowing and stopping. Options for this model also include a "dead-man" hand brake, which is depressed for movement.
