Beacon Model: Beacon BHOOK series forklift tow ball.
Description: Beacon forklift tow ball enables a fork truck to be converted into a tow truck for trailers and other portable equipment. The design of the hook bases allows them to slide onto forks and be secured into place via safety pins.
Capacity: The capacity of the hook bases is 4,000 lbs. The capacity of the tow balls is 2,000 or 5,000 lbs. The pintle hook has a vertical capacity of 2,000 lbs and a trailer capacity of 10,000 lbs.
Construction: The forklift tow ball is constructed of welded steel.
Size: The hook bases accommodate fork lengths of 36", 42" or 48". The ball diameter of the tow balls is 1-7/8", 2" or 2-5/16".
Weight: The hook bases weigh 84, 100 or 118 lbs. The tow balls weigh 3 or 4 lbs. The pintle hook weighs 12 lbs.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications.
