Beacon Model: Beacon BSP-TOP and BSP-TOP-R series stabilizing jack stand.
Description: Beacon spin top stabilizing jack stand helps prevent semi-trailers from upending when they are not connected to a tractor during loading and unloading. Stabilizing jack stand meets OSHA regulations at the loading dock when used with wheel chocks. The stabilizing jack stand includes two 10" semi-pneumatic wheels, enabling the units to be deployed quickly.
Construction: The stabilizing jack stand features heavy-duty steel construction.
Operation: The height of the BSP-TOP-R stabilizing jack stand is adjusted manually with a heavy-duty ratcheting mechanism. The BSP-TOP jack stand's height is adjusted by a 8" spin top screw head. It is not recommened to use stabilizing jack stands on an incline.
Service Range: The BSP-TOP trailer stabilizing jack stand has a service range from 39-1/2" to 51". The BSP-TOP-R trailer jack stand has a service range from 41" to 50".
Capacity: Spin top stabilizing jack stands have a static capacity of 100,000 lbs. and a lifting capacity of 40,000 lbs.
Options: Replacement parts are available, call factory.
Installation: Stabilizing jacks are set in place by a loading dock worker.
Color: The trailer stabilizing jack stands are painted yellow.
Note: OSHA 1910.178 (k) (3) - "Fixed jacks may be necessary to support a semi trailer and prevent upending during the loading or unloading when the trailer is not coupled to a tractor".
Warranty: The Stabilizing Jack Stand has a 30 day limited warranty from date of shipment.
