Description: The portable gantry crane is designed to be an industrial portable fixed height gantry crane. The portable gantry crane is designed with a fixed head beam to be more economical than the gantry cranes with adjustable head beams.
Construction: The construction of the portable gantry crane is with heavy duty solid steel components.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that this unit complies with all safety laws, codes and regulations.
Service Range: Since this unit has a fixed height head beam the service range is classified fixed at either 5'-9" or 10' under head beam.
Capacities: Three different capacities are available with the portable gantry crane. Available capacities are 500 lbs, 2,000 lbs or 4,000 lbs.
Standard: The large casters allow for the ability of movement of the portable gantry crane. The unit is supplied with large 8" diameter 4 position locking swivel phenolic casters with roller bearings to facilitate easy movement from one work area to another.
Installation: Note: All gantry cranes are shipped disassembled. All products should be inspected frequently to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspecting is left to the end user after final assembly has been completed. For further details see ASME B30.17.
