Beacon Model: Beacon BAHA series adjustable height aluminum gantry crane.
Description: The Beacon aluminum gantry crane is ideal for overhead lifting of large, bulky objects. An aluminum gantry crane and lift equipment are designed to be ergonomic for the worker and provide lightweight and rigid construction into one unit. The overhead aluminum gantry crane eliminates the need for a fork truck or a hoist. Pinned connections at every corner enable one person to set up or take down the unit in minutes. The lightweight I-beam allows height alignment without the need of a hoist or fork truck.
Construction: The portable aluminum gantry crane is constructed of light-weight aluminum, which allows this unit to be corrosion resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that this unit complies with all safety laws, codes and regulations.
Size: The height is adjustable in 6" increments.
Service Range: The aluminum gantry crane has beam length service ranges of 8', 10' or 12'.
Capacities: The capacity of the aluminum gantry crane is 2,000 to 4,000 lbs.
Standard: The portable gantry crane comes standard with four 8" 4-position swivel lock phenolic casters.
Options: Trolleys and hoists for use with the overhead aluminum gantry crane are sold separately.
Installation: Note: All gantry cranes are shipped disassembled. All products should be inspected frequently to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspecting is left to the end user after final assembly has been completed. For further details see ASME B30.17.
