The Drum Spout - Barrel Valve can be used for emptying drum contents as well as filling drums in the horizontal position. This unit is resistant to corrosion and is also lockable. It eliminates the need to rotate barrels into vertical position in order to gain contents access.

Product Details

Construction: This series features fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene construction and nitrile rubber O-rings.
Size: Thread diameter is 2-1/2" and inside outlet diameter is 1.637". Works with 2" bungs. Overall size is 4-1/4" wide x 8" long x 6" high.
Color: Drum Spout units are Beacon blue.
Weight: 2 lbs.
Operation: To operate, attach unit to bung with locking ring. Push the handle toward the drum; twist to unscrew bung. Pull handle away from drum to empty contents. To close bung, reverse operation and remove the unit.
Standard: This Drum Spout series is designed to reduce the risk of spills, as well as reducing the time and energy needed to drain contents from barrels.
