Beacon Model: Beacon BDCR series drum transporters
Description: Beacon economical mechanical drum transporters are uniquely designed to lift and move plastic, steel and fiber drums with a top lip. For transport security, the steel jaws securely grips to lock the top lip of the drum. The straddle legs are designed to rotate for access for drums on pallets.
Capacity: Drum movers feature a 1,500 lb. capacity.
Construction: Drum transporters feature all welded steel construction.
Service Range: Drum transporters have a jaw service range from 27" to 74".
Operation: Drum movers are available in either a manual mechanical ratchet or a foot pump hydraulic lift mechanism. The drum mover rolls on four 8" x 2" phenolic casters. The front casters lock for rigid position.
Color: Drum transporters are powder coated with a safety yellow finish.
Options: The drum transporter has an optional scale weight to an accuracy of +/-0.5 lbs. The optional scale includes 6 D cell batteries and an AC adapter.
