Beacon® BHDC-305 Series

The Drum Carrier allows for easy drum handling of loaded 55-gallon steel drums by one person. This series rotates drums 360 degrees with either a pull chain or a hand crank. This unit is held securely in place with a durable chain locking system. It is lowered or raised by a hydraulic foot pump. This equipment is for use with steel drums only.

Product Details

  • Construction: This series features heavy-duty steel construction.
  • Lift Heights: Units have lift heights of 60", 72", 84", and 96".
  • Power: Optional AC, DC, or Air/Oil power units are available for the lifting operation. Optional DC or hand crank options are available for the rotation method.
  • Color: Model BHDC-450-60 is painted Beacon yellow; all other models are painted Beacon blue.
  • Weight: This Drum Carrier series weighs from 483 lbs. to 765 lbs. Optional power units add 36 lbs. to overall weight.
  • Operation: Models are operated by a hand crank, pull chain, or optional power units. Models ending in -AC or -DC come standard with AC or DC power units for lifting and pull chains for rotation.
  • Capacity: Models have a maximum capacity of 800 lbs.
  • Standard: All models include a boom attachment which also stores the outriggers.
  • Options: A 30-gallon drum adaptor is available for the Drum Carrier. Lift options include AC, DC, and Air/Oil power. Rotation options include a hand crank (instead of the standard pull chain) and 24V DC power. Contact Beacon for fiber and plastic drum options.
  • Surcharge: Due to supply chain disruption, inflation or material shortages - tariffs or surcharges may apply to current published pricing. Some longer lead times may be incurred. Freight charges will be added to published pricing.
  • Note: When using this equipment, the drum will need to be strapped in.
