Description: Beacon drum gripper enables a fork truck driver to lift one or two drums without leaving the vehicle's seat. The drum grippers feature a hinge folding design for storage.
Construction: Drum gripper is constructed of heavy duty welded steel.
Operation: To operate the drum gripper, slip your fork truck's forks into the drum gripper's fork tubes. Then lower the drum gripper around the drum and allow its knuckle gripping system to grasp the drum tightly. Then the drum can be lifted.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that this unit complies with all safety laws, codes and regulations.
Size: Drum grippers are available in a variety of sizes from 26" wide x 35" deep x 8" high to 46" wide x 24-1/4" deep x 9-1/2" high.
Capacities: Drum grippers are available with capacities of 800, 1500 or 2000 lbs.
Lowered Fork Height: Drum is automatically released by lowering the forks.
Standard: The BDGS-A and BDGD-A feature adjustable width arms for use with both 30 gallon and 55 gallon steel drums.
Color: Drum Grippers are powder coat finished.
