Models: The BFDL-1 series will transport one drum; the BFDL-2 will transport two drums.
Description: Beacon Automatic Eagle Beak ™ forklift drum positioners allow fork truck operator to easily secure, move and release drums without leaving the fork truck seat.
Construction: Forklift drum positoners are constructed of heavy-duty steel.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that this unit complies with all safety laws, codes and regulations.
Scope: This drum lifter can be used with open- and closed-head 30- and 55-gallon drums. The unit can be used with fiber drums, plastic or steel drums that have a top lip strong enough to support the drum's weight.
Size: The fork pockets in the drum lifter measure a usable 6-1/2" wide x 2-1/2" high.
Standard: A safety chain and T-Lock are standard to secure the drum carrier to the fork truck.
Note: The drum lifter design allows a choice between single- or double-drum configuration. Drum carriers are time savers when moving drums from one location to another.
