Beacon Model: BEDE series economy edge of dock leveler with lift hook engagement.
Description: An edge of dock leveler compensates for uneven heights between dock and truck. A manual edge of dock leveler is commonly used in trucking terminals. This economy Edge of dock leveler is one of the original and basic edge of dock levelers designed and is the most economical of all edge of dock levelers. The BEDE series edge of dock leveler requires approximately 80 lbs of lifting force with the hook to engage the leveler.
Capacities: The hook lift edge of dock levelers economy models are available in capacities of 20,000 and 25,000 lbs.
Construction: The economy edge of dock leveler model with hook lift is constructed with a 2" distribution bar and two gussets.
Size: The edge of dock levelers feature deck widths of 66" and 72" wide deck. All economy edge of dock levelers have a span of 27-3/4".
Standard: The edge of dock leveler comes standard with a 15" hinged lip and dock bumpers.
Installation: Dock heights of 48" to 52" are required for the installation of the edge of dock leveler to propery service a tractor trailer.
Note: There is no pit work required. Edge of dock levelers simply weld to the building 8" imbedded channel or to the optional formed angle and approach plate.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications.
