Description: An edge of dock leveler compensates for uneven heights between dock and truck. A manual edge of dock leveler is commonly used in distribution centers. Edge of dock levelers are durable and heavy-duty. The BBLE series edge of dock leveler with bar lift requires approximately 28 to 34 lbs. of push pull force to operate.
Capacities: The edge of dock levelers are available in capacities of 20,000 and 25,000 lbs.
Construction: The economy model edge of dock leveler with bar lift is constructed with a 2" distribution bar, two gussets and operates with a extension spring.
Size: The edge of dock levelers feature deck widths of 66" & 72". All economy edge of dock levelers have a span of 27-3/4".
Standard: The edge of dock leveler with bar lift comes standard with a 15" hinged lip as well as dock bumpers.
Installation: Dock heights of 48" to 52" are required for the installation of the edge of dock leveler to propery service a tractor trailer.
Note: There is no pit work required. Edge of dock levelers simply weld to the building 8" imbedded channel or to the optional formed angle and approach plate.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications.
