Beacon Model: Beacon BED series edge of dock levelers standard model with hook lift engagement
Description: An edge of dock leveler spans between the dock and the truck bed during loading and uloading. The standard edge of dock leveler is commonly used in distribution centers. The BED series edge of dock leveler with hook lift design requires approxiamelty 80 lbs. of lifitng force to engauge the leveler.
Capacities: The edge of dock levelers are available in capacities of 20,000, 25,000 and 30,000 lbs.
Construction: The standard edge of dock leveler model with hook lift is constructed with a 2" distribution bar and three gussets.
Size: The edge of dock levelers feature deck widths of 66", 72", 78" or 84". All standard edge of dock levelers have a span of 27-3/4".
Standard: The edge of dock leveler with hook lift comes standard with a 15" hinged lip as well as dock bumpers.
Installation: Dock heights of 48" to 52" are required for the installation of the edge of dock leveler to propery service a tractor trailer.
Note: There is no pit work required. Edge of dock levelers simply weld to the building 8" imbedded channel or to the optional formed angle and approach plate.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications.
